Born & Raised in Eagle Pass, TX

Eagle Pass has historically been underserved when it comes to pediatric dental care. Born and raised in Eagle Pass, Dr. Alejandro Esquivel knew he had to make the change. After becoming a specialized pediatric dentist, Dr. Alejandro Esquivel opened Smile Factory Pediatric Dentistry to take care of children's teeth.

Meet Dr. Alejandro Esquivel

Dr. Alejandro Esquivel earned his DDS from the University of Monterrey, Mexico. Once completed he decided to attend the University of Puerto Rico where he received his specialty degree in Pediatric Dentistry. He further completed a 1 year Fellowship at The Children's Hospital of Colorado where he was also a faculty member.

As a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Esquivel is dedicated to providing his patients and their families the highest quality of care and service. Dr. Esquivel is very compassionate to the needs of each individual patient.

Dr. Alejandro Esquivel is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Alejandro Esquivel is happily married and a father of three young children.

The Smile Factory is Born

It was all too common for parents to drive to Laredo or San Antonio just to keep their child's teeth and gums healthy. In emergency situations, children were not able to receive specialized pediatric dentistry services locally. The need for a specialized pediatric dentist in Eagle Pass, TX continues to grow.

Dr. Alejandro Esquivel saw the need for a pediatric specialist in Eagle Pass, TX. He answered his calling and moved back home to serve the health of children in the Eagle Pass community.

With the help of his parents Alejandro Esquivel Sr. and Azucena Esquivel, his siblings Dalila and Manuel Esquivel, his wife Indira Villacobos, and his children Natalia, Santiago, and Maximiliano Esquivel, the idea of the Smile Factory was born. The family planned together the name, logo, colors, and overall experience of the Smile Factory.

After careful planning, Smile Factory Pediatric Dentistry opened its doors on October 17, 2012.

A dental office and dental hospital hybrid with the capabilities of treating emergencies, Smile Factory Pediatric Dentistry is one of a kind.

Baby's First Dental Visit

The AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry) recommends your baby's first dental care visit be at 6 months or immediately if your baby is born with teeth. Prevent your baby dental pain!
